Day 01 : Madurai (142 kms/3-4 hrs)
On arrive at Madurai, Southern India's oldest city with a recorded history going back to the 6th century B.C. This afternoon you will visit the ruins of the Tirumal Nayak Palace and world famous Meenakshi Temple, the most perfect example of Dravidian architecture. Later this evening you may revisit the Temple for the evening Aarti ceremony. Overnight at hotel.
Day 02 : Madurai-Rameshwaram(160 Km/3-4 Hrs)
This day After Breakfast Proceed to Rameshwarm in Tamil Nadu is popularly referred to as 'Benaras of the South.' Rameshwaram happens to be one of the most visited pilgrim sites of India. Legend has it that to attain Moksha, a visit to Rameshwaram is mandatory. In the epic Ramayana, there is mention of Rameshwaram at various places. Rameshwaram is at a distance of just 24 kms from Sri Lanka. Spread over an area of 61.8 square kilometres, Rameshwaram happens to be in the shape of a conch. On arrival at Rameshwaram visit to Ramanthawamy Temple,Kodandaramaswamy temple, Sethu Five km south of the temple is Sethu, where the celebrated temple of Sri Anjaneya is situated, and where, it is believed, Sri Rama built a bridge to Sri Lanka .Overnight at Hotel.
Day 03 : Depart to Madurai
This Day After Breakfast we will Depart to Madurai for Back to Home.
